You may have already heard the news, but if not, we want to share that we are officially rebranding from Tea Leaves Health to Welltok. As a result, the Tea Leaves Health name has been retired, and from this point on we will be known as Welltok. The product names – Patientology™, Physicianology™ and Decisionology™ – will remain the same.
Welltok acquired us in October of 2017 and we became Tea Leaves Health, a Welltok Company.
Since then, we’ve progressively worked to become Welltok’s Provider Market. The original thesis around this acquisition was clear. Both organizations make the consumer the front and center of their respective strategic visions, roadmaps and ongoing development activities. Both organizations are also keenly focused on reaching consumers, creating a personalized health experience, and encouraging consumers to take desired actions.
Like Tea Leaves Health, Welltok also is a healthcare-only company and has a strong heritage in data and analytics. It is a data-driven, enterprise SaaS company offering a sponsor-branded consumer activation platform. Being a part of the Welltok family gives us the opportunity to be well positioned to solve additional problems faced by you – hospitals and health systems.
Welltok was founded in 2009 by Scott Rotermund and Jeff Cohen. Welltok is currently led by a diverse and experienced leadership team, including healthcare visionary Jeff Margolis, Chairman and CEO. Jeff founded TriZetto – one of the most successful health IT companies. He joined Welltok in 2013 and has since then grown the company to over 400 highly-talented employees across four offices: Denver, CO (HQ); Burlington, MA; Newport Beach, CA; and Roswell, GA.
